As for why I'm taking Japanese - I took some in highschool, and decided to continue it instead of French, partly because the study abroad program in Japan in gentler then the progam in France, and partly because Japan is awsome. :) Also, I read manga, and manga is sooo much cheaper to buy in Japan.
